[S] 8r8k Act One

ok so, first off, the flash was absolutely worth the wait. there are just strait up worse flashes in hs propper (cogh cogh while wake is hype, you kinda can't tell whats going on) so this is an exelent first flash. all the art is rly good and they got the fundamental esencce of a homestuck flash down, that being a blend of meat and candy. the use of the this is stupid bit is peak and the fact that a) jade taxadermied dave then b) captialoged his corpse and c) wass hiding it from karkat to avoid emotional damadge, then she droped it and it kinda didn't matter was great. I love how rose walks onto the battlefield, does nothing, gets shot and still manages to look cool doing so, like thats a skill. all I have to say abt the, erm, special image of soluxander captor is his hame. the hsbc is geting creative with claspect powers, like hoping like, half the usefull stuff into the battlefield courtisy of jake, or jade enlarging ppls heads, like thats just cool.

in spotlight stealing news, the rest of this post will be taken up with discussion of a singular character 8ecause, well she's 8ack 8a8y. so vriska serket. first off, hell tier is cool, this is known. that out of the way, lets talk about what we realy come to postcannon for, the ennui of adult life. this flash has made me accepting of an arc about vriska dealing with the fact that she'll never get to apoligise to terezi and terezi defining herself outside of vriska, now granted I still want terezi to yell at vriska amd end up in a pale relationship, but them never seeing eachother again and them having to learn to be ok with that is also great, and while less in line with homestuck propper, it is realy in line with hsbc. like postcannon is all about circumstances and personalities tearing apart childhood friend groups, and the members forging better ones in the aftermath, and the scorge sisters are the most disfunctional one with the bigest circumstances separating them. but on the other hand I need terezi to fucking yell at vriska sooo. I love how vriska emulates terezi when she grabed the bullet.
